My Little Book

Today I felt like sharing my little book. It is my new adventure into mixed media. I got this little book from Joggles.com.  It is a nice store with lots of videos. Check it out.
I had so much fun doing this. The cover was made with Glossy Accents. Then I used some Estaz to go around it. I started off inking all of the pages so they would be alike. I used some of the Lindy’s Shimmer Sprays. They are amazing too.

I also inked some crumpled ribbons as well. All of this stuff was new for me. It was perfect for all of my dies. Tim Holtz gets a shout out too. He inspires me like he does a lot of people.

Please excuse any typos. This blog format doesn’t work well for my iPad. I basically have to work from the bottom to the top. If you like me doing a blog please let me know. I hate to just drop this if some of you like it.

This one I sent one of my favorite songs.  He walks with me and talks with me and he tells me I am his own.

There are those butterflies. Without change there would be no butterflies.
Butterflies are symbols of renewal. Do not fear change. We all evolve. There is always room for something new.

It is important to have dreams. Physically and mentally. With out dreams there is not much to live for. I am encouraged by me dreams. It keeps me happy.

I have a a couple of boxes with little things I keep just incase. Sometimes I urge myself to go into that mess and use it. This page is partly that mess! The zipper has one of my stick pins in it.

Awe! Little do dads are fun  why not pit a special tag in there?

Faith can move mountains.  The mountains are calling and I must go.  When I saw the mountains weight was lifted and my spirit was calmed. I knew I was where I belonged.  The mountains are my favorite place to go. They are awesome to me.

The biggest wall you have to climb is the one in your mind. Climb over it. Kick it down. Walk around it. Tunnel beneath it.  So true!

Butterflies! These were fun! I know you can’t really tell but they are sparkly.
I used the Gelli Roll pens on them. That and cutting them out was quite a project.

This was fun.  I had a project of making artist trading cards for My Christmas list. I did one each month for a whole year. These images where used for Easter cards. I did the ATC’s with these images. Actually I used sticks on them just like I did here.

When you have too many things in your head it can get overwhelming. I try to focus on the page I am working on. There however are days when it is impossible. When I get like that I take a break. It is without a doubt time to relax.

It has been fun to try out new things. The Lord gave me two hands and a creative brain. I might as well use it.

Last but not least I threw in my Harley page. I know it doesn’t fit with the rest. It is just that it is part of me.

Thanks for stopping by. This blog is terribly hard for me to do. I must work from the bottom up. It takes a bit of brain power to do that.
