Ink! Paper! Stamps! OH MY!

I am definitely on a new adventure.  After making ATC’s for quite a few of my friends last Christmas I was head long into some mixed media. I gave them a small easel and each month for a year new Artist Trading Cards. That was pretty hard for the most part. It did make me have dead lines and thinking ahead always.

This year I am making greeting cards. I have decided to donate some to scrapbook.com. They donate them to several places. I liked the idea. If you like it check it out.

My first card is a birthday card for my sweet daughter. It goes out this week. I hope she will like it. My grand daughter got the ATC cards last year and she would take them to the smaller kids and they would look at them. It was a big hit.  the back ground is Tim Holtz Distress Oxides. The stamps are  Livinia Celestial Tree small.

This stamp is by a designer in the UK. Livinia is the company name.  Her stamps are very detailed and I love the line. They put out  many videos on how you can use them. With this one our damsel  is Zemira from that company. The flower is from my stock of stamps I already had. The botanical at the top was also from Livinia. They have a large selection of botanicals. Trees and fairies and animals. The back ground was done first. I used Tim Holtz Distressed Oxide Stamps. Layers were used. Then I splattered it with gold paint. If I had it to do again I would have left the gold for the one of the last thing and masked Zemira than splattered the gold. Also I put glue dots of glitter in the  Willow hanging leav
es.

Now I have embarked on the greeting card train!  I will end this section with a few of them. You might see some in my Etsy shop. Not totally decided yet.  I hope you enjoy them. Don’t forget to stop by my Etsy shop. Jut type in SweetArtAlways.
